Since my first semester in college I have known that I wanted to teach. To that end, I tried to make the best of my time at each school attended to make me the best instructor I could be. I have achieved an AA in communications from West Valley Community College, a BA in biology from the University of California Santa Cruz, and a MA in education from Bethany/Simpson University. All of my undergrad work has been with middle school students and I have come to love their enthusiastic nature especially in science. I personally wish for them to learn material that is surpassing the state standards while learning good critical thinking and group skills. So much of the world after school is dominated by the need for these two skills that I would be failing the students by not providing them with these skills early.
